GENERAL SUMMARY: Temporary Six-Nine Month Assignment
Responsible for full-cycle recruitment and the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing execution of effective recruitment plans for selection activites. Assists the company’s ability to employ, place, and/or transfer internal and external executives, managers, professionals, and technicians, to support staff and ensure adequate staffing for the assigned business area(s).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively manages multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously across various locations.
- Particpates in the full cycle recruitment process, to include discussing the specific requirements of each position with the appropriate hiring manager, attracting qualified candidates, assessing applicant qualifications, and negotiating and closing job offers. Develops a source/contact list, conducts telephone and face-to-face interviews, completes reference checks, and participates in extending the offer to the candidate.
- Develops ongoing relationships with hiring managers and HR staff. Keeps them apprised, as appropriate, on the progress of the recruitment effort.
- Adheres to fair hiring practices.
- Guides and counsels hiring managers on proposed offers by reviewing and analyzing internal equity,
- compensation guidelines, and market conditions.
- Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in sourcing, recruiting, and identifying qualified applicants for
- highly specialized and/or difficult to attract positions.
- Manages and executes candidate sourcing strategies. Participates in recruitment functions to attract the most qualified candidates to champion Coventry’s mission and values. Helps to minimize the use of outside recruitment firms, but when necessary, monitors progress and provides necessary feedback and guidance.
- May coordinate interview schedules for candidate, make candidate travel arrangements, and process travel expenses.
- May manage multiple staffing reports to evaluate effectiveness of recruiting and retention efforts. Makes recommended changes as necessary.
- Accesses and helps maintain internal candidate database to assist in future recruitment efforts.
- Assists with internet recruitment strategy for company.
- Participates in company-wide Human Resource projects, taking project lead or other roles as assigned.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Previous (3+ years) recruiting experience.
- Proven knowledge of recruiting practices and experience in a variety of sourcing methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up.
